Regulations in Japan

(OP)
Does anybody know where I can find the RF and safety regulation for Japan?

I believe Japan uses the CISPR limits that are used in the European Union.

What about safety regulations?

I'm working with IT equipment for use in business environments (residential use would be nice but is not required).

PS:  Is there a better forum to post a question like this?

RE: Regulations in Japan

A few years ago, UL (NY) used to have a resident MITI regulatory engineer [as well as VDE].  The electrical safety regulation is governed by MITI [Ministry of International Trade & Industries].  I had obtained MITI approval for products.  They usually accept UL approval for safety, but there are labeling requirements.  Also, the typical voltages is 100 VAC nominal and may not be grounded. Your safety approval can be handled via UL.
