Bolt Grades- A325 vs SAE J429 Gr 5 vs A193-B7

Bolt Grades- A325 vs SAE J429 Gr 5 vs A193-B7

(OP)
Is there any advantage or disadvantage to using A325 as compared to SAE J429 Gr 5 (or Gr 8) or A193-B7 bolts?

My application does not have a specific design code, so I'm not limited by that.  And all three specs above seem to have similar tensile strengths.  Are there differences in reliability or quality control or proof testing or tolerances that would make one preferred over the other?  I do see that bolt heads are smaller on the Gr. 5/ Gr. 8 bolts.

See the responses on thread507-123279, including mine.  That may help.
