SolidWorks & Collaboration - Options?

SolidWorks & Collaboration - Options?

SolidWorks & Collaboration - Options?

(OP)
I've been asked to research what type of collaboration options are available with SolidWorks.  I know of 3D Instant Website and of SolidWorks 3D Meeting.  3D Meeting is more along the lines of what I'm looking for, but it runs on Microsoft NetMeeting, and NetMeeting seems to be 'old' technology (Microsoft's NetMeeting web pages are from 2003).

Is there something newer or better that any of you are using or that SolidWorks endorses/supports?  I need to be able to collaborate both internally and externally; I'd like something along the lines of WebEx.

What's out there?  Thanks in advance,

Brian

RE: SolidWorks & Collaboration - Options?

I'm not sure if this is part of #D Instant Websites or #D Meeting, but here's another to look at:

RE: SolidWorks & Collaboration - Options?

I have only used SW 3D mtg a couple times. It works pretty good after it is setup correctly. But, most prefer eDrawings or PDF's.

RE: SolidWorks & Collaboration - Options?

I'm with Chris on this - eDrawings professional is a great way to communicate designs to customers, vendors and your boss.
