[Solid Edge V16] "Margin-left" parts list
[Solid Edge V16] "Margin-left" parts list
(OP)
I want to have a parts list directly connected to my righthand bottom. First problem is the position of the handle point. A few mm from the table-borderline.
What I did is:
Handle point on "bottom left" (x,y) --> 21.875,65,875 (border must connect on (22,66)). Not very decent, but acceptable. But the problem is the position of the text. The text starts almost on the border of the cells. Don't know how to change the margin of the cells. The margin option only meets the top and bottom margin.
I can convert the parts list into normal text, but then the list isn't linked anymore.
I have tried to change the textcolor into white and place a new table over it with the borderlines white. Didn't work...
Please help...

RE: [Solid Edge V16] "Margin-left" parts list
the partslist is actually a grid where each cell contains a textbox.
The height of a textbox is controlled by the font size. The text margin
defines the space that a textbox is surrounded by. I've checked it
in V16: increasing the text margin widens the grid's cells in height
and width with the text box centered vertically and horizontally.
Exerpt from the Help:
Text Margin
Specifies the clearance value between the parts list text and the
parts list column and row lines.
So I can't see why it shouldn't work for you too
