RE: NACE MR-0175

Hi Guys

Sorry but I can't get access to the ISO discussion forum for some reason.

Can anyone tell me what the difference, if any, there is between the NACE MR0175 and the ISO 15156 standards - I don't know if this is a silly question but my suppliers seem oblivious to the ISO standard and only quote me materials to NACE.

thjanks for any help

RE: NACE MR-0175

For anyone outside of the USA, ISO 15156-1,2,3 are the standards for cracking resistant materials.  Notionally, they are supposed to be identical to NACE MR0175 but how can they be when the paragraph numbers don't match?!!!!

RE: NACE MR-0175

NACE MR0175 and ISO 15156 are now one document (as of late 2003 I believe). The subject paragraph (4.2.2) is from the previous NACE MR0175-2003 edition. Basically there was two revisions to MR0175 in 2003.
