"De-Constructing" Roads and Dams?

"De-Constructing" Roads and Dams?

"De-Constructing" Roads and Dams?

(OP)
I've had a professional and personal interest working on projects decommissioning roads, unused logging roads in particular and/or removal of dams- a "de-construction" of sorts.  It's a small part of the civil engineering field I'd love to work in. Unfortunately, I suspect there's not a lot of work in it.

Does anyone know who's doing this kind of work? Can you provide names of firms in the Pacific NW? Any local, state, federal agencies???

Has anyone had experience working on these projects?

RE: "De-Constructing" Roads and Dams?

There is a forum410 dealing with Demolition Engineering. May be of your interest.

Ciao.
