Hello everybody!
                   I am new to UG and I have to set the environment variable %UGII_BASE_DIR% to the installed folder on my computer.Can anybody tell in detail how to do that.I shall be highly thankfull to you. Thanxs

Hello,
You can add a environment variable from
Control pannel>system>advanced>Environment variable..
Here you can create a system variabel or a user variable depending on the requirement.
If Unigraphics is going to be used by more number of user then it is sujested to add system variable.
Hope this solves your problem..

The varaible should have been created by the install program. Did everything get installed properly?

hi guys!
           I am really thankfull to you for solving us problem.Actually we have NX2 and NX3 installed on same computer.I wanted to update nx3 but the path was set for nx2.but then i changed the path as told by amatmay and it worked.thanxs again!!
