Several Routing Properties Questions and two tips I have learned

Several Routing Properties Questions and two tips I have learned

Several Routing Properties Questions and two tips I have learned

(OP)
Here are my questions, my var is becoming more useless everyday.  At this point workarounds are acceptable.

1st - My BOM in the drawing is not reading my $PRP@description file created in my pipe part file.  Is there a reason for this, or am I just missing something.
It reads the descriptions perfectly out of my other parts (WN, TOL, etc.)  I think the problem lies when the pipe is created it is not bringing over that description into the new part file.

2nd - So when I do have a pipe in a spool, is it possible to replace the qty with the sw-pipelength.
Logic -> if swpipelength>= then qty = swpipelength.
I have a feeling this one will be no.

Ok now for the tips.

1st (This was quite aggravating)Several configurations of the Threaded Elbow that comes with SW are incorrectly built and need to be corrected.  The problem lies in the elbowarc feature is not tied down properly causing your pipe to not go in the hole.

2nd (Also quite aggravating)  The Raised Face Slip On flange for the 300# configuration does not have 1/16" raised face as it should.  You will have to correct this.

3rd If you are using Feet & Inches dimensions, make sure you have the rounding off feature checked otherwise the dimension will show decimals if it is not right one your denominator.

Q1) Check to make sure the "D" in Decription is upper case. In your post you show lower case.

Thanks Cor,

That fixed the problem.
Never knew that made a difference, don't remember that one in my 1 week crash course by the var.
