Text Height

Text Height

Text Height

(OP)
is there a way to change the height of text without changing the placement of the text?

ex

corr.
1-100

if I use change prop. command I get a big gap between corr. and 1-100. if I use scale command I have to use a base point.

I just don't want to move text around if I got a whole lot of room names

Thanks,

RE: Text Height

With MTEXT, you can set line spacing (you will have to change it manually). With normal text, the insert point should not change. Which type are you referring to?

RE: Text Height

Set justification for the text to "middle center".  Then when you adjust the height, it should stay in the same place.  If you have width set to zero, just adjust the height in property manager.  If you don't have width set to zero, use the scale function and snap to the insert point of the text (which will be the center of it).
