How can I create un-associated copies of a drawing and it's associated part file in SolidWorks 2005?
Can anyone advise me please?

RE: Copying drawings and part files in SolidWorks 2005

Look up drawings, detached in the SW help files.

Detached drawings - ahhh forgot about those... those are hardly ever used by most of the customers we have or at least the ones I speak too.

Detached drawings don't copy drawings you will have to copy it using SWexplorer then use detached drawings.
