Can some1 out there help me out?  I'm using SAP2000 to do structural analysis.  How do I go about (the steps) to show the internal member force? For exe: for member AB, Fab = to some force.

Thanks a bunch ahead of time.

RE: SAP2000

The best way i have found is to go to File...export to excel...there you can chose to export input and output data...choose no input and some output....then you can check frame forces ..clicl ok a couple times and excel starts up with the info you are looking for.

you can also go to display...frame forces then choose axial moment or shear

good luck
