Break line for section view

Break line for section view

Break line for section view

(OP)
I have been using a templete I created to do this in the past, however I have been wondering if UG has someing of it's own. The secenario is when I cut a stepped section there is no break line the the section view to show where it is cut, just the mismatch of the cross hatching as geometry. Does UG have a symbol for this or a setting to do this.

RE: Break line for section view

I think there are some breakline symbols in the User Defined Symbol library (NOT Custom Symbol).

If you don't like what's offered out of the box, make your own Custom Symbol & save it.

RE: Break line for section view

I've got the same issue...sure would be nice if there was a toggle to create the breaklines automatically when creating the view.

RE: Break line for section view

A simple toggle would be nice, however I regularly use the "Broken View" function to provide a break line where needed.

This function is simple to use and provides you several different styles to choose from and allows you to create a custom break line if you wish.
