(OP)
I have doing some jobs by pressing glass into shapes . The major problem encountered in this case is the ripples which appear on the surface of the glass which is contact with the mould due to the glass cooling down as it spreads before the plunger presses it . Increasing the mould temperature reduces the problem but at the mould temperature at which the problem vanishes the glass starts sticking to the mould !Is there any other way to get out of this problem ?
The mould starts sticking to the glass as it nears 350 degC .The glass is normally around 1150 degC.
