Seperable Tapered Roller Bearing

Seperable Tapered Roller Bearing

(OP)
Has anyone ever seen a tapered roller bearing cone that was designed to be disassembled.  In other words the inner race, cage and rollers were designed to come apart and be put back together.

RE: Seperable Tapered Roller Bearing

Precision taper roller bearings manufactured by Gamet can be disassembled. Cage is retained on the inner race by a snap ring, take that off and it all comes apart

RE: Seperable Tapered Roller Bearing

Hi,

Is there any Distributor for Gamet bearings in USA ?

Thanks,

RE: Seperable Tapered Roller Bearing

K & D Machine Tool Parts imports Gamet Bearings. Their number is 201-444-1161. He only stocks what he uses for his machine tools, so try to get whatever information you can from the Gamet website.
Als GMN imports Gamet . Their website is www.gmnbt.com

Wasn't the J-Line bearings from
Timken similar to what you are
asking for?
