Backround Images in Inv10

Backround Images in Inv10

(OP)
Hi,

Just wondering if anyone has any interesting ideas for backround images in Inventor while modeling/drafting... I've been using one of the canned cloud images as kind of a joke at my office, but honestly I'd like to find some cool bitmaps... Something simple, but something with a technical or futuristic feel.

So post some ideas if you have any, and let me know what image adorns your workspace.

RE: Backround Images in Inv10

I have tried a couple, but they have all created distractions from the design process, kind of like trying to do a painting over the top of another painting.

The other issue, I am sure that it will suck some resources from your video card to process a fancy image in the background instead of a clean cool color. Not a problem if you have plenty of video horsepower or simple assemblies, but if you are working on a complex assembly you want every advantage you can get.

At a minimum I think you would want to cut the contrast or brightness so that there aren't a lot of clean edges interfereing with your eyes.

My daughter is my favorite desktop background, but IV stays clean.
