Supplier for polyurethane viscoelastic system

Supplier for polyurethane viscoelastic system

I am looking for some companies who can supply the raw material for making viscoelastic foam. My client has approached several chemical suppliers such as Bayer and other, but they would also like to see the possibility of getting the  system from other manufacturer preferably based in America and Europe.

Thanks,

DA

RE: Supplier for polyurethane viscoelastic system

Try BASF, they are one of the world leaders in polyurethane polymers. Their daughter company dealing with that is called Elastogran. They are world-wide do it fits your profile. Also look at the SpecialChem site they have a really good overview of polymers and additives.

We have seen some of the Elastogran machines, they make good dispensing machines. My client has also talked to the local BASF, but they are really looking at the possibility dealing with the smaller size Polyurethane System House in Europe and North America.

Try Morton Polyurethanes. They are a US-base PU system house with affiliates in Europe.

First of all what density of foam are you lookin for?
Also the end use is very important.
The environmant the foam is exposed to is important. The answer to the questions will determine the proper foam to choos and which manufacturer to pick.
