Seismic analysis

(OP)
Hi All

I have performed a seismic ground response analysis in ansys. I wonder if you guys know any way to make a fourier transform for output acceleration time history obtained in analysis?

RE: Seismic analysis

Do you want to obtain the fourier transform of your acceleration time history/response? You can do this in ANSYS using APDL. See the *MFOURI command in the help file. Also search the archives here on details how to do this using APDL. Other than that, if you have access to Mathcad or similar, it is much easier to output the raw time history data and use these.
