Zemax and SLM

Zemax and SLM

(OP)
hello to all,

I'm getting acquainted with Zemax at the moment and come across the following problem:

is there a way to simulate a spation light modulator (slm) with Zemax, if so, how? (since a slm is a diffraction grating and a phase shifter simultaneously...)

and furthermore, how can I simulate the outcoming beam *size* (for example the waist of the transferred gaussian beam) with Zemax if the beam passes a lense with a certain aperture after the slm? (I know how to build up the lense and calculate the required distances, but I don't know how to calculate the image size if the distances are fixed.)

Any help appreciated!
Regards,
Buonshi
