PRO/E Modeling Help

PRO/E Modeling Help

(OP)
is there an easy way to make a complex "solid shell" around an existing solid model and then save a copy of the solid shell only.  For example, I have a solid model and want to make 3 separate shells all having different thicknesses and ultimately form 3 separate core/shell assemblies to import to abaqus.

Thanks for the help all,

Chris

RE: PRO/E Modeling Help

Do you intend to shell or solid mesh the objects?

If you want solid Shell Features I think I'd look at creating a family table part; each instance having a different thickness value.

If you want volume boundary rep shells look into copying and offsetting.
