Dose anybody know any equations about the effective width of a cantilever slab under one point load at the tips or a general equation showing the effective width being a function of the span and the distance of the point load from the fixed end??

I think you can use whatever width you like, as long as you can prove the point load can be spread in the transverse direction (perpendicular to the cantilever).  For example, you must have enough reinforcing in a concrete slab or topping to spread the load in the transverse direction.

AASHTO (17th Ed) 3.24.5.2 says: "The effective length of slab resisting post loadings shall be equal to E=0.8X+3.75 ft where no parapet is used......where X is the distance from the center of the post to the point under investigation."

"Roark's Formulas for Stress and Strain", chapter 8, discusses effective width of cantilever beams.  The formulas are based on coefficients which are given in a table.
