s7-300 cpu 314c-2dp, et200m and an MP270; now i have to add a tp170A, but i can see its variables values only if i get off the MP270 from the bus(their address are different);
someone have any ideas to solve this problem?

Thank you

RE: siemens tp170A on profibus

Hello;
    There probably is no solution. Profibus is a master-slave network. The master polls data from the slaves assigned to it. A slave cannot have two master. However a master can also be a slave. Also a Profibus network can have multiple slaves.
    What does this mean for you? More than likely, the CPU is a master to its slave I/O modules. Also the CPU is a slave to the MP270. When you add a second touch screen, it is also a master (not a problem). However it wants the CPU as its slave (is a problem because it is already a slave to the MP270).
    Moral of the story: only one touch screen per CPU.

In step7 hardware configuration, cpu comunication  proprieties, in "op resources" it has to  be selected the  number of OP which the cpu is going to cominucate;in my configuration it was 3 and i was tryng to set the fourth tp;
now it is ok
