Assembly Feature

(OP)
I'm trying to add a feature in an assembly before another feature. I roll back to before the original feature and start sketching my new one. It always adds my new feature to the end of the list and wont let me drag it back into any other posiiton. Thanks,

RE: Assembly Feature

Can you explain better what you are trying to do?
I do not understand what you mean by "roll back to before the original feature" when you are in an assy.

When in an assy, you cannot roll back to a sub-component & you can only "add" cut-features to an assy.

If you are trying to add a new feature to a part, you have to be in the Edit mode of that part.

RE: Assembly Feature

(OP)
I've assembled deveral parts, then added some holes that are drilled thruough two parts. I made a Cut-Extrude feature in the assembly to drill through both of them. Now I would like to add another pilot hole before I drill this one so I 'rolled back' (by dragging the bar below the features to before the 'Cut-Extrude'). I try and add a another Cut-Extrude feature for the pilot hole but it adds it to the end of the list of the assembly features. I do this all the time inside parts with no problem.

RE: Assembly Feature

You must have used the hole as a reference for the pilot hole or you need to check what features you included when setting the scope.
