PDMWorks 2005- SP 4.0 & SP 4.1

What's the difference between Service Packs? When I download SW & PDM it was at 4.0 only. Now that I go back to SW site it sez SW is at 4.0 and PDM is at 4.1. Was there a problem with the orginal SP?

Thanks,

RE: PDMWorks 2005- SP 4.0 & SP 4.1

There was definitely some kind of bug fix in PDMW SP4.1, but I can't find any mention of it on the SW website anymore.  At any rate, you will probably want to upgrade to PDMW SP4.1.

Can I update PDMWorks separately from SW? I would hate to reload from scratch

Yes, you can update PDMW separately from SW.  The "4.0ev" is the "early visibility" release.  Keep in mind, when updating PDMW only, it doesn't matter which service pack you are upgrading from.  The EXE files are the same either way.  It's only when you're updating SW installs that you need to worry about which service pack you currently have.
