Autocad Hyperlink to open excel at a specific sheet

(OP)
G'day,

Does anyone know if you can open a specific worksheet in an excel workbook using the hyperlink function of Autocad?

If not does anyone know how I can achieve this through other means?

Regards

SC

RE: Autocad Hyperlink to open excel at a specific sheet

If you put a hyperlink to a drawing file into an Excel cell, when you click on the hyperlink, the Operating System (Windows) will try to open the file with the program associated with the file type (AutoCAD).  So, yes - it will work.  I use Excel as a drawing log and put hyperlinks to the drawings which are openned with AutoCAD.

sc,
The problem of opening an excel workbook to a specific worksheet can be accomplished. Look at your post in the engineering spreadsheet forum.
