Is anyone aware of any podcasts that would be of interest to Electricians/Automation Technicians/Industrial Maintenance, etc.?
I've got a long ride to work and have plenty of time to listen . If anyone is interested, I have a few Tech podcasts that I've been listening to. I also have a link to an HVAC site that has a big archive of webcasts on that subject.

Are those like worm casts?

RE: Podcasts

Hi jw62,
Are you holding out on us? Post the link!
I think podcasts of technical info are a great idea, but probably too new still. I hope to see (hear) some in the future. Good luck.

itsmoked,
Probably are similar, but podpoop didn't sound good either.

jraef,

Here's the HVAC link - http://libertyfeed.com/. Go there and look for "CoolTalk" on the left side frame. I don't think he actually does the show anymore - but there's a big archive - mostly residential HVAC.

The Tech feeds that I listen to regularly are "This Week in Tech", "Diggnation" , "Security Now!" and  "KFI Tech Guy".

The addresses for your Podcast software are:
http://feeds.feedburner.com/twit
http://feeds.feedburner.com/diggnation
http://feeds.feedburner.com/SecurityNow
http://feeds.feedburner.com/kfi

You don't need an iPod. I bought a 128MB MP3 player from Amazon - new - for $30. The software is free - I use iPodder.

I still haven't found any Podcasts realting directly to Industrial Maintenance, but do have a link to a good Management Tools Podcast at http://www.manager-tools.com/.

I also have a few RSS feeds from Maintenance blogs at my page - http://www.welchnet.us/industrial/.

If anyone knows of any others, or has any questions about subscribing to stuff like this, let me know.

Thanks

Johnny
