Does Window XP Service pack 2 affects WF2?

Does Window XP Service pack 2 affects WF2?

(OP)
Hi all,

Our IT dept just installed window xp service pack 2 on my pc and i find that WF2 is running slower than usual. A simple model is even rotating slower than it used to. Will this problem has anything to do with SP2? Has anyone has a similar problem before?

Thanks!

RE: Does Window XP Service pack 2 affects WF2?

If I'm not mistaken the XP SP2.0 has the firewall which is defaulted to activate.  Maybe if you disengage this things will get better.  I'm running Pro/e 2001 and didn't notice any differences but I disengaged it anyway.

Thanks Heckler! I've found a fix to the problem. It was a graphics issue rather than a WF issue. I just had to update the driver for the graphic card and the problem is gone.

Thanks anyway!
