high voltage color schemes?

high voltage color schemes?

high voltage color schemes?

(OP)
Currently we have at our facilities a graphic display that shows voltages ranging from 480 volts to 69kV. All voltages are color specific except for the 12.47kV lines. Are there color standards for such voltages or is up to the utilities to select what works for them? I got the impression from the engineer(no longer with us)that designed the graphics, that there were specific colors assigned to specific voltages.

RE: high voltage color schemes?

There used to be a British Standard BS that defined colours. Would suggest you search archives of British Standards Organisations. I know that 11kV is Brown for example. Don't forget that color is colour in English
