RE: Heat treating device on 1" piping weld at 750¦C

do you need a manufacturer of the equipment or heat treat contractor?

Cooperheat (now part of MQS) or Stress Analytics are two contractors i am aware off the top of my head.

unclesyd,
I don(t see any equipment that match my need.
I still need help !

Give either company a direct call as both have equipment that should easily go that high.  We have worked at 1850°F several times.
If by chance they can't fill the need I'll look around for a maker of clam shell heaters that could be used.

Would inductive heating work for this application?  If so, contact Ameritherm at www.ameritherm.com

Yes, an induction heating setup may be worth investigating for heat treating at this temperature. The Ameritherm folks sell a good power supply if that's all you need. If you want an entire custom-built induction heating system, try www.inductionatmospheres.com. They take Ameritherm products and add all the fixturing.

Watlow provides resistance heaters, as do several others.
