Slow Drawing Performance

Slow Drawing Performance

Slow Drawing Performance

(OP)
Hi,

I have a drawing of a large assembly.  The assembly is ~150 parts/shrinkwraped assemblies.  Most of them are shrinkwraped assemblies.

So now the model opens up in a reasonable amount of time; however, the drawings are very slow (~20 min to create a partial view) We have ~20 sheets to update so this time is a real problem.  Each sheet is a separate drawing and my computer is 2.8 Ghz, 2 G RAM, Nvidia 380 XGL graphics card.

Does anyone have any suggestions?  I have erased the unnessary views and I am using Wildfire I.

RE: Slow Drawing Performance

I'm not sure if this will help you, but try to set the config.pro option fasthlr to Yes.
