Sheetmetal cut across bends

Sheetmetal cut across bends

Sheetmetal cut across bends

(OP)
Here is a tip for new SW users who work with sheetmetal.  This is something that I learned with the purchased i.get.it subscription, but a free tip on Solid Professor.

When I first started in SW, those around me would tell me to use the rollback bar to make cut-features across bends.  Not until i.get.it. did I learn to use the "unfold" and "fold" tools instead.

RE: Sheetmetal cut across bends

The i.get.it tutorials are very good, but the Unfold & Fold method is (& I believe always has been) shown in the Online Tutorials.
