2006 Error on Startup

2006 Error on Startup

2006 Error on Startup

(OP)
I get this error on startup

"Error: the database file'N:\Solidworks Data\lang\English\swbrowser.mdb' is not the expected version (10.05).

I did run the update file on this Toolbox so I am not sure what is going on.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Chris

RE: 2006 Error on Startup

Try running the Modify on your install - See my website \Tips and tricks on how to do this.

Tried what you suggested and I am still getting the error.

Anymore ideas?

Chris

RE: 2006 Error on Startup

Backup your Toolbox Browser and the the current mdb file in the toolbox folder. Then do a clean uninstall and reinstall of SW and Toolbox. Once you reinstall you can take your backup and replace the files with it.

RE: 2006 Error on Startup

I had the same problem when I installed 2006. I did the install as a new install but left 2005 alone. I used a diffrent folder for the Toolbox in 2006 so the two would not be over written. When I ckecked the folder where the files that was being referanced there was nothing in it just plane empty. Still have not persude getting it fixed though becouse I have been short on time.
