Input Files not Recognized

Input Files not Recognized

Input Files not Recognized

(OP)
I'm attempting to input files into a code.  When I run the code and input the file name, MATLAB replies "not a file".  The confusing thing is that the files I'm attempting to input definitely ARE there, as I can open and view them completely.

Any suggestions?

RE: Input Files not Recognized

Could you explain what you mean by "input files into a code"?  Are you reading a file into the MATLAB environment with a load statement? Or using a GUI command to get a filename from a user?  Or cuting and pasting a source file into a MATLAB script?
Could you give the MATLAB commands, the operating system you are using, and the filename with exact entension.
