RE: Acme Threads on Web anywhere?

TRY THREAD TECH v2.21 SOFTWARE FROM THREADCHECK.COM.  THE 10 DAY FREE TRIAL SHOULD BE ENOUGH!

RE: Acme Threads on Web anywhere?

the od of the thread means very little in dimensioning. the pitch, lead(if it is multiple start), style of acme, and/or threads per inch will lead you to most of your dimensions.
it is possible to cut a common thread on any given diameter
as long as you are also making the matching nut. this used to be common practice years ago in america's factory thriftier days to save material when repairing stripped shafting threads while saving the rest of the shaft. not too common now days though.
hope this helps,
send me more information and i'll try to help,
