Concrete slab craking
Concrete slab craking
(OP)
I read a lot of post discussing cracking in floors during the curing period.
Anyone have a short list of items/procedures which should be followed as the floors are poured, finished, joints installed, cured to prevent cracking. An Inspectors Checklist.

fndn is right. Further, ACI membership is inexpensive, and gets you a good discount on ACI publications. It's well worth it IMHO.

Cracking is an extensive topic and can be studied extensively. One thing I learned in my experience is that if the subgrade is uneven, cracking can occur. Uneven sections of concrete will react unevenly to a load, causing them to behave differently than the surrounding material. I was on a project where this was the cause attributed. Epoxy injection was used as the solution to these apparently wide cracks.
Best of luck.

yes the mud in the bottom dries up and cracks, same thing with concrete.
most important thing to do is keep the water in as long as you can, that and only that will stop major cracks.
so seal it ,spray it with water, or what ever it takes.
