Finding component in assemblies

Finding component in assemblies

Finding component in assemblies

(OP)
Pro/e2001, Say I have a many assemblies that use a particular type of belt but not all the machines have the same belt on it, the width of the belt varies from assy to assy. These machines are stored under different folders. I want to just find all the machine assembly that uses a particular type of belt only. Because the problem is when I am doing to rename that belt all the assy files in which it is used should be in-session otherwise pro/e will say cant find component when I open it next time. So how can I find all the assy files that uses this particular belt. Or is there any other way of not getting into problem, when the belt is re-named without having all its associated asemblies open.
Thanks, Raj.

RE: Finding component in assemblies
