Rectification of Boxculvert & Wingwall Connection Joint

Rectification of Boxculvert & Wingwall Connection Joint

Rectification of Boxculvert & Wingwall Connection Joint

(OP)
Hello Everyone,

We need to rectify the connection bet. the boxculvert and wingwall expansion joint because vertical cracks exists due to settlement on the wingwall and wrong orientation of joint connection Inlet side. Our plan is to correct the expansion joint and break the vertical crack portion from the top of wingwall to the upper jt. foundation and concrete it from bottom to top.

Problem is we should have an effective Stream diversion before we concrete water is about 1.5m deep, any help on how to plan a stream diversion that is economical for only rectifying that joint?

Sandbags and plastic sheets or jersey barrier, plastic and sand.
