I am looking for information for size, cost etc. for a 72 inch flapgate to be installed on a storm drain outfall which will prevent high flows in the river from backing up into the project site.  Waterman seems to be out of business from time to time.  Any idea of other manufacturers?

RE: 72 inch flapgate

cvg,

The RED valve company has a TIDEFLEX checkvalve that might fit your application.  It is not a swing check design, but it is a fabricated rubber 'duckbill' that is opened by flow and closes against reverse flow.

RED Valve Tideflex is the most reliable device
