Polymer Structural design code

Polymer Structural design code

(OP)
I am trying to design a Thermosetting Polyurethane part and would like to know what the best design code to use would be i.e. if it was steel i would use AISC 9th edition steel construction manual. In my application there is no specific guide i am aware of but some form of structural code would be great. The main area i am looking at is long term performance. i am currently using 60% of is tensile strength for short term use and 15% for long term. The long term figure is lower due to possible degradation of material etc. The client has asked me to justify the 15% but i have none so now need to work to a code and use its figures. Please help!

RE: Polymer Structural design code
