how to heat up oil in a test jar to 120C?

how to heat up oil in a test jar to 120C?

(OP)
I am running a test to see if polycarbonte and polysulphone can withstand oil we are using at 120C.  To do this I have the test peices in a large 1.5-2 gallon glass jar.  Does anyone have any idea what kind of heater I can use to heat the oil up to and keep it at 120C for days?  It needs to be a relatively inexpensive and safe heater.
I would use a fish tank heater but they do not get near those temps.

A hot plate and combination of cheap single channel process controller and a thermocouple.  Might need a relay depending on the controller's switching capacity.

maybe something similar to 3583K91 (depends on your container dims) plus 3626K47 at www.mcmaster.com

The Corning Stirrer/Hotplates can achieve a steady 120 deg C.  It's a Rheostat, so you need to calibrated the knob (1-10) to actual temperature, and just leave it there.  I've had good luck with them.  They're about $300.
