Casters in clean rooms?

Casters in clean rooms?

Casters in clean rooms?

(OP)
This must be a simple problem but I can't seem to find an answer.  I need to run a caster wheel in a clean room environment, class 10.  Casters all seem to have stamped steel plates for the swivel bearings which are dripping with grease.  Are there caster manufactures that design a clean room friendly caster?

Thanks
Seth

RE: Casters in clean rooms?

McMaster Carr has sanitary casters for use in food industry, sealed bearings.  9945T38  They have several washdown sealed casters also.

RE: Casters in clean rooms?

Our company makes solid bearing lubricant from graphite. It can be installed in the caster wheels, only if they use ball bearings or tapered roller bearings. It can be placed in the swivel bearing, if it is a banded thrust bearing. It is called Cobra Solid Lubricant by Unique Technologogies Associates.
