I have been developing a damage continuum model by programming an usermat in ANSYS, and I am now extending this simple model into a non local approach, i.e. each the state variable in each material (gauss) point depends on the state variable values of a certain amount of adjacent points. This assumption has been proven to be particularly true when interactions at the meso-scale are modeled in a continuum fashion.

In order to extend my model to the non local version, I need to retrieve the total strain (passed ad Strain as well as dStrain in the usermat, i.e. the current strain at the iteration level) of knwon numbers of surrounding gauss points.

I am now studying the ADPL language, but it seems that the ADPL commands to obtain the Gauss points strains

Please, if possible, help me with suggestion.
Thanks!
