Can someone list the steps to export a *.xmt_txt from Unigraphics so it can be imported into Solid Works.

RE: unigraphics export for solid works

The file type your looking for is called a parasolid in unigraphics. Use "File-export parasolid" then pick the solids from the screen you want included in this file and hit ok to make it happen. There is a choice on what version of parasolid it will create in the dialog, use the latest if you are not sure and go back a version or two if that doesn't work.

RE: unigraphics export for solid works

The file format will be ".x_t"
