What are the potential problem with locating air cooled condenser (R407C) bellow level of compressor and evaporator. Approximatelly 3m. I can see potential problems with pushing liquid out of the condenser, oil circulation and maybe flashing off gas? How can you avoid those problems? Thank you.

RE: Air cooled condenser (R407C) - location

This can be made to operate with appropriate control valves, and Parker Hannifin has a couple of arrangements in the Refrigerating Specialties application manuals about just this topic.  There is a minor penalty in that the control valves are not set to manage LOW head pressure as normal in a larger system but to manage pressure at All Times; and of course the HP liquid line pressure is always appreciably lower than the condensing pressure.
