Siemens SIMODRIVE
Siemens SIMODRIVE
(OP)
Hi everyone,
I have a Siemens SIMODRIVE 6SC61-01-2A-Z (it is an old drive 1989)that is controlled by a SINUMERIK (Also old 1989).
Now I would like to control the SIMODRIVE with a mitsubishi PLC, so I don't have to use the SINUMERIK.
My question is, Where can I find some material/manuals for the SIMODRIVE 6SC61-01-2A-Z??
I have searched the Siemens web with no luck. Also searching the web (google) does not give any useful material.
Does anyone know where to find a manual??
Thank you!
Dariusch

RE: Siemens SIMODRIVE
I have some old Siemens documentation and I have located diagrams (complete, down to resistors, diodes, all component values and IC pinout). There are different sets of diagrams depending on rated current and number of axis.
I think that it is about 200 sheets (A4). If you tell me what version you have, I can pick the relevant sheets and arrange to have a set of copies sent to you. P&P on you.
I have not found any manuals. Siemens didn't think much of manuals at that time. Most technicians worked directly from the circuit diagrams.

Here in the US, Siemens had just bought the old Relcon drive in Canada, which I believe is this drive. Siemens still has the manuals available for the Relcon 6SC85 which if memory serves me correct (and sometimes it doesn't!), was the successor to the 6SC61. You should check it out here and see if it is similar enough to be usefull. If not, try searching for it as a Relcon drive, leaving out the Siemens name.

Thank you for the response.
Gunnar the number for the drive 6SC6101 -2A- Z
Z= 2xA20+G10.
Nikola the drawings for the 6SC85, does not look alike the 6SC61. I will search for "Relcon".
Thank you for the time
