FT & A drawing error

FT & A drawing error

FT & A drawing error

(OP)
I using the drawing mode to convert some annotations made with the Function, Tolerancing and Annotations applications into a drawing.  The plane is converting clearly and the annotations displayed are correct, but some of the annotations have a big read X accross them.  I can delete the X but I do not know why CATIA has put it there.  Does anyone know what it means?  I am using CATIA V5 R15.

Thanks.

RE: FT & A drawing error

A Red X on a generated symbol in a "View From 3D" means it is related to some geometry which is not visible in the view.
This is the case when the symbol is related to a wireframe element that is in No Show. Showing red-crosses is the standard way for the FT&A application to show information that might not be relevant in one particular view.
