GROUNDED PARTS IN ASSEMBLIES

GROUNDED PARTS IN ASSEMBLIES

GROUNDED PARTS IN ASSEMBLIES

(OP)
When I drag a part into an assmebly I apply the needed relationships and when I check them it only has a grounded relationship and no others. I have uninstalled and reinstalled SE and no help. Some of the component parts are from previous revs., and I am working in V17.

RE: GROUNDED PARTS IN ASSEMBLIES

swhits,
I had the same problem a while ago - this was Fred's answer.

"have you tried right clicking in the 'parts list' window in the edgebar when in the assembly environment : make sure that 'maintain relationships' is checked."

bc.

RE: GROUNDED PARTS IN ASSEMBLIES

Hi,

What beachcomber said should do the trick. Otherwise, it's maybe because your part is grounded to begin with. Then you need to delete the ground before adding relationships.
