Power Analyzer
Power Analyzer
(OP)
My company is a power and distribution transformer manufacturer. Currently we have a Voltech PM3000 power analyzer. It is in need of being replaced since it reads ~125mA under no load on channel two. It is over 10 years old and is no longer supported by voltech since replacement cards are no longer available.
My question is can someone suggest a cost effective replacement. It does not need to be as fancy as the PM3000 we use very few of its features. I was thinking of getting the PM300. Any suggestions?

RE: Power Analyzer
Yokogawa make a reasonable analyser which is comparable to the PM3000. Fluke's little 43B hand-held analyser is a nice unit which does much of what the Voltech unit does but for single phase only. They have two newer units which I haven't used models 433 and 434 which are three phase. I expect they are to the usual Fluke standard. You should be able to get one on demo for a while.
