Can anyone recommend any books or papers for the design of elastromeric bearings for bridge girders?

RE: Elastromeric bearings

Try thread507-80259

Otherwise, do a search of this site (search posts) with elastomeric and/or bearing as the key word.

I have searched most of the website and nothing technical comes up. Even the supplier's information are lacking. can you recommend some website or publication?

RE: Elastromeric bearings

As crossframe recommended, try thread507-80259.  You'll probably need to get the AASHTO codes recommended there.

RE: Elastromeric bearings

The old Precast Concrete Institute or Prestressed Concrete Institute (not sure which and can check from home) had a design manual and within the text, there was an outline of designing corbels for elastomeric bearings.
