Low power pressure regulating device for a closed volume

Low power pressure regulating device for a closed volume

Low power pressure regulating device for a closed volume

(OP)
I am looking for a device that can control the pressure of a closed/dead headed volume of oil.  More specifically, I have a volume of fluid contained within a steel cavity.  Connected to this volume of fluid are 16 pistons at an approximate Ø of 7mm.  Attached to the opposite side of each piston (the side not exposed to fluid) is a spring.  By adjusting the pressure of the fluid volume I can adjust the position of the 16 pistons at the same time (assuming all the springs are the same and disregarding tolerances associated with piston size, friction, spring load, etc.)

The scope of this application requires that the system power consumption is very low. As a result, I do not want to use a pressure control device that constantly is flowing in order to regulate pressure in the volume.  I am looking for a pressure control device that supplies fluid to the closed volume in order to increase its pressure (causing the 7mm Ø pistons to move in one direction) and vents fluid out of the control volume in order to decrease its pressure (causing the 7mm Ø pistons to move in the opposite direction).  When the pressure of the closed volume is at the desired point, the pressure control device does not allow fluid into or out of the closed volume.

I need to control the closed volume accurately to pressures between 7 and 70 bar, the pressure control device can draw from a pressure source that ranges from 80 to 205 bar. The pressure control device can vent to atmospheric pressure.  The volume of the closed volume would be on the order of 1000cm^3.

Does something like this exist?  If not, are there any ideas on what this device might look like?
