(OP)

I have got the ANSI y14.5M. but I don't know what values of the geometric tolerances are proper to my pulley, shafts and other parts. Can someone tell me which standard I can use to give the value of geometric tolerances?
Thanks in advanced.

RE: about geometric tolerances

The geometric tolerances should come from the requirements for accuracy of your system design. You can look for similar designs for guidance. Nothing can replace experience.

RE: about geometric tolerances

Hi chuny,

Everything you ever wanted to know about standard pulley or sheave dimensions and tolerances can be found in Machinery's Handbook.  These are derived from ANSI/RMA IP-20-26.  I agree with israelkk.  Prepare for a learning experience.
